BERGENS INTERIØR & BOLIGMESSEN

Finally, and after one year stretch -the Interiør & boligmessen, (Interior and design fair), is back in Bergen. This year´s theme was "Handmade is the new black" and it was carefully handpicked to represent the upcoming trend that focus handcraft design with meaning and history as well as up-cycling and re-purpose vintage decor.

I wanted to take more pictures but I was working and I forgot my camera memory card. I am already looking forward for next year fair and I hope to be more social with fellow bloggers, designers and producers.

Memories From The Fair

I had a really good time at this year´s Interior Fair.

Meeting "Passion 4 baking" Manuela Kjeilen was a blast! She is as sweet as her recipes and since my hubby loves baking he also got to meet her; plus, he bought her book: "Manuelas Magiske Jul". Our Christmas this year is going to be sweet for sure!

Interiør & Boligmessen 2013

This year I am part of Bergen's Interior Fair crew. Here are some pictures from behind the scenes.

This Is How...

Did you like the string garden me and my friend Ivonne create to participate on this year "Interior and Design Fair styling competition: Botany and Flora In Action."

This is how we did it!

Materials:

Plant, choose a plant that only needs water ones a week.
Natural moss to cover the base
Scissors
Strong string

Carefully remove the plant from the pot making sure you leave enough soil to cover the roots. You can add a little more soil if needed.

Place the root ball in the middle of the sheet moss and wrap it around making sure the root ball is completely covered. Wrap it with the sting around the moss covering enough to hold it together. To finished tie a strong knot and use a long piece of string to hang.

To water, immerse the plant in a bucket of water for a couple of minutes, let drain and rehang.

Botanic Decorations

Last week we had some last summer days with amazing weather. It was a perfect opportunity to decorate with plants, flowers and candles both outside and inside and enjoy our home with family and friends.

My creative friend Ivonne and I set to work and we decided to focus on the patio and the big window that leads to it with botanic inspiration. We created a cute green string garden hanging free from the window and added plants with soft orange colors to the window ledge.

I let the pictures speak for themselves -I am very proud of the result.

With this post Ivonne and I wish to participate on this year "Interior and Design Fair styling competition: Botany and Flora In Action."

Interiør og Boligmessen Favorites

Last weekend was one of the most amazing weekends of 2012 for me. The creativity, the ideas, the people and the program of the Interior og Boligmessen in Bergen was fantastic. I enjoyed every second of my work there, the opportunity to chat with my favorite blogger-ladys, meet new ones and learn more about trends, colors and design.

The Interior and Design Fair in Bergen begins tomorrow!

I am going to be working at the entrance. Remember kr.100 for one day and kr.200 for the entired weekend. There is going to be a cashier to pay only with cash, so if you want to come inside faster bring single bills. See you there! ;)

Interior and Desing Fair in Bergen.

The second Interior and Design Fair in Bergen from the 28th to the 30th of September. I am so happy because I am going to be working behind the scenes with the creative team. The fair is an opportunity for the public to see the retailers and designers to market their up and coming products and trends. There is going to be a lager program with different topics for everyone: photography, interior, design, creativity and more...
