New Year 2016 - free printable & Table decor Ideas

We are still enjoying the magic of this Christmas but I can stop thinking that the new year is around the corner and wanted to share a free printable and some dinner table decor ideas.

I am using glamorous black and gold colors and made some decorations like the 2016 numbers, that you can make yourself too!
Download the printable shape here and draw it on the paper with the color that you want to use. You can also use plain cardboard and paint it.
After cutting the shape paste it to a barbecue stick.

Pompoms are so festive and you can also use any silk paper color to match the table decorations.

To decorate a plane glass or candle holder you can make small ties. It will be easy to secure the ribbon whit some stitches.

I hope you feel inspired and that your holidays celebration are fill with peace and happiness.

Christmas Table

Already in November we had our first Christmas dinner with friends. I understand that we have to take a grip of every opportunity to bet together and celebrate life and friendship.

As always my hubby and I made a good team. While he cooks a delicious dinner I decorate the dinner table with beautiful details but simple to make room for conversation. In this post you can see how I put together the mason jars candle holders.

For this occasion my mother in law made her famous "Unni Cake". A delicious fruit cake with cream and almond base. Would you like me to share the recipe? Leave me a comment if you do so!

Green Winter

More Christmas inspiration! This time from last years Christmas dinner with my friends. I wanted to recreate a dream green forest with pines and candles.

The table turn just like I want it. I used materials that I found on nature and details from some of my favorite interior brands and shops.

I cant wait to decorate this years table!

Wedding Dinner

My dear friend got married to her "King Arthur" last week. It was a sunny day in Oslo surrounded by love and family. Her wishes of having a simple celebration came true but some fabulous details -like her fancy blue BB Manolos, made it even more special. Catered food at the wedding reception was easy to serve and delicious. The decoration she chose for the occasion resembled how comfortable she wanted her guests to feel: grey and white with a touch of green made a relax environment pleasant enough to focus on a good conversations and really loud laughs.

This creative envelope had three functions: cutlery holder, place card and dinner menu.

The best of all? the couple will host a big wedding party in Barcelona in a couple of weeks.
Stay tuned!

Jars Decor DIY

Easy, simple and beautiful unique details are part of my favorites DIY projects. For my SEA table setting I pimped some jars that I had laying around.

All the materials for this project came from my recycled box. The rope was a gift package decoration from a present I got, the jars from candles, jam, etc... some I had recycled from my friends homes and the shells from beaches we had visit.

Super glue and Voila! 15 minutes later...

Perfect and practical because they can be use for different table decoration styles as candle jars or flowers vases, napkins holders... creativity has not limits!

Hope you feel inspired and thanks for stopping by

B&W Fall Table Decoration

For my hubby's birthday I decorated a party table with black and white fall details.

It was really fun to paint pumpkin's black. I used spray painting from Clas Ohlson.

I founds this cool napkins at Home & Cottage and the cool sparkler candles at a local hobby store, you can see them in action in the last picture.

Party lights from Ikea.

We had a very nice evening, delicious cakes and beautiful details, but the most important sounder by family and friends.

This last picture was taking by our friend Nicolas Valles

Ps... Go to BoligPlus and vote for your favorite table decoration. I hope you vote for mine!

First Communion Celebration

You may have wondered why I haven't post my renovate living room pictures. Well, the reason is because my mind was set in a kind of "party-modus" with the preparations for my son's First Communion reception.

After a beautiful and ceremony at Bergen's St. Paul Kirke family and friends enjoyed us to celebrate our little man´s special day.

Finally I could see my work put together and everybody loved the theme.
{Here} is my Pinterest inspiration board for this event.

I will be back in my "interior-modus" soon, but today we have Legos to build and games to play.
 Happy Sunday!

Special Place Card Holders

I made special place card holders with modeling clay and copper wire, for the ladies that are coming to celebrate our little man First Communion.

For the men I am going to use the mustaches card holders and for the ladies stars and hearts decorated with mini angel wings from Panduro.

The napkins are from Ikea and I made the napkin ring mustache using this clip art. The blue cup is from Rice.

Here are the two table seating's. It is a contrast between little gentlemen and angels. I only need to choose a tablecloth and a table runner.

Today we are going to check out the party location.
Have a nice day.
