Day Eight : Cheating Is Allow

I'm squeezing 8th day of Living Four Seasons advent calendar. Cheating is allow only because I ran out of time yesterday.
Saturday was a day that I've taken to clean up the house and make some crafts such as the one I am showing on the photo of the day 9.
These are the materials that I used:
Cute vintage bottles from Clas Ohlson, that came with a practical tag for the advent numbers
Metric washi tape from Panduro for the advent numbers
Paper candle templates I found via Google
mt washi tape to decorate the paper candles
Easy Peasy

Day Six: Christmas in our home

In our home Christmas is all about the Christmas tree.

Since I was little I'm used to put up the Christmas tree from the first of December and I continue this tradition here in Norway. The tree lights help me to get up with a good mood during the dark winter mornings.

We have an artificial tree that this season celebrates 10 years of being with us.

More details from the sofa table. White and silver are the main colors on the second floor of our house. As the days go by the colors red and green enter in the from of crafts made by our children and the bright wrapping paper.

With this post I want to enter the December challenge of  NIB: Christmas in our Home

Day Four: DIY

Creativity and sense for details make the advent a special time to put a little extra on everything we do. Even if we are rushing true the day to do and get everything on time.

The first gifts are already packed and of course they are for my kids. I picked up this cute DIY idea from Pinterest to make gifts labels using cookie cutters.

 They came out really cute!

I also got a little recycling idea: some of the art work that my kids have brought home from school can be turn into beautiful label houses for all the presents that we are going to give away this year.
Do you have a DIY idea that is so easy that makes you smile?
Have a nice day

Day One: Something New

I was looking for the perfect winter sofa cushions to replace the blue ones that I was using during the summer. There are many nice and trendy cushions out there but far away from my budget.

But when I saw Ikea's beautiful fabric Margareta I was sold to the DIY idea.
I have to add a big THANK YOU to my friend Dulce for helping me to sewn them ♥

The other cushions are from Åhlens (yellow) and H&M Home (stripes), I had them from before.
The cute knitting cushion is from Ikea and I payd only Kr.150 for it :)

My first day of Christmas I am going to work but during the evening I am going to enjoy a lovely dinner time with my beautiful girlfriends ♥

Have a nice day!
